![]() Having a copy protection that is 100% protects me from subsidizing the warez users. My point about protection is how heavily cracked Waves was when their $29 plugs cost $200. I'm loving their past year of $29 plugs, but unless they are drastically changing their business model or release poor quality tools, something is in the works. Either a WUP change, big upgrade, a huge secret revolutionary don't know. What I meant was, IMO they can't sell $29 plugs forever. Does Waves put out bad plugins? Absolutely, but their great plugins are just that, great. All things being equal, I would say Waves has the upper hand on pricing now and in the future. Hard to say which would outlast the other. Both companies seem to be on solid ground at the moment. ![]()
